Bachelor's tuition (non-EU) is SEK 80,000–145,000/yr and master's tuition (non-EU) is SEK 100,000–160,000/yr (approx. €7,000–14,000); the application fee is SEK 900 (one-off); proof of funds required is ~SEK 10,314/month; estimated monthly cost of living total is ~SEK 10,300 (students need SEK 10,000–12,000/month).
Language requirements
IELTS 6.0–6.5 or TOEFL is required for bachelor's applicants, and IELTS 6.5 (typically 5.5 in each band) is required for master's applicants.
Visa
The visa process involves accepting the offer and paying the first tuition instalment, showing proof of funds of ~SEK 10,314/month, applying for a student residence permit online, providing passport/admission/funds documents, giving biometrics at a VFS centre if required, then receiving a decision and planning travel.
Post-study work rights
Graduates can obtain a 1-year Post-Study Permit (residence permit to seek work after study). Sweden sets no fixed weekly hour cap on student work during study, provided studies come first.
