Language requirements
For bachelor's admission, SAT/ACT (where required) and TOEFL 80+ / IELTS 6.5 are required; for master's admission, GRE/GMAT are required for many programmes along with TOEFL 90+ / IELTS 6.5–7.0.
Visa
The F-1 visa process involves accepting your offer to receive the Form I-20, paying the I-901 SEVIS fee, completing the DS-160 form, paying the visa fee and scheduling an appointment, and attending an F-1 visa interview at a US consulate. Applicants must show funds covering the full tuition and living costs listed on the I-20.
Post-study work rights
F-1 students can work 20 hours a week on campus during term, use CPT for internships during study, and access OPT for 12 months of post-study work in their field, plus an additional 24 months under STEM OPT for STEM graduates (36 months total).
